This will end at Tenerife Lan Party where ESL has chosen to celebrate EPS 9 are each passing day and from our side ESL can get the big thanks for all the effort and everything they are doing.
It will be disputed between the 20th , 21th and 22 of July, where we will play against the winner of the previous edition and for many as the Spanish top1.We are talking about x6tence, but we wont make it that easy and will fight untill the end like any other game.
From the staff of DN-Gaming have done an interview with the 5 players of the team and you can read the interview below.
1- Well first of all congratulations you have reached the Final of this EPS IX.It has not been easy to get there , how you feel to have made it so far?
Mula: Thank you,
I feel inmense relief, we had to work hard, but the fact that the reward is huge, so I'm very pleased, I consider that I am not playing the most, but by the team. We have always believed, or at least I thought we could get here and get to play a final of EPS, but circumstances had not been. So no, I think it's well deserved!
Blade: I feel happy and joyful, rather than by me in my team who deserve it, we've been through tough times and now it seems that after the return of MAK and the signing of Rekyem we have found the key. I've been personally looking for years in this game That is not nothing but a mixture of good cheer, companionship and friendship mixed with work, enthusiasm and desire.
Mak: It is a great reward after all this time playing counter strike, so many hours, many trips, so many defeats, so many victories ... And finally the time came. I will enjoy this moment to the fullest and will surely be the last tournament to enjoy in the 1.6.
Hector: Thank you, it truly has not been easy to get to the finals after the thud of the previous EPS after losing in the quarterfinals before gaming.CO which had other expectations. This eps have been party to party without believing that we had won before playing. I am very happy to be where we are and I think we deserved to have been much earlier in these situations, but "X" factors we have not been, but the work and dedication of all my colleagues has made this in the finals.
Rekyem: Happy and satisfied after staying two years running at the gates of a final EPS is a great prize to contest the final in a setting like Tenerife.

2- During the group stage and the playoffs we have suffered in some games, especially in the semifinals, when you put the complicated thing you thought? and to get out and win the match which was the first thought?
Mula: Actually yes, we have suffered much, very much. We had to overcome in many cases, situations that merit or demerit of our rival had an uphill struggle throughout the tournament (against Spanien, myRevenge, Karont3 Dust2 Coincidently, the 3 cases) but in the end we always managed to move them forward, a fact that is very important and I will not take anything.
Anyway, we have to mature more in our game and try to be more compact and regular in every game.
A clear example is the very semifinal, had to overcome an inferno that put us complicated, going up 1-8 against a CT to a 7-8, to win the map 16-11. Then we lost a mirage (14-16) that seemed to have controlled, winning 11-4 and losing the first round of hand knives. And finally tracing a playing Dust2 CT we had very very uphill (6-12) to finish (16-14).
Speaking of this same party, precisely because of the dynamics that led the bo3 to escape the second map and wasting of Dust2 terrorist clearly, honestly we saw more outside than inside, but hey.. eventually we take it forward as we have done before.
Blade: In the last map, after taking the victory in hand in the second, and seeing that the party put us uphill and there was nothing but go up, every time I trusted in our game, I knew we had a good CT in Dust2 and we had already traced to other computers on the same map so it looked quite possible.
Mak: We start with the group game against Spanien, we knew that this was our first step forward if we wanted to reach the final of the EPS because of lose that game, we would play against x6 played in the playoffs. We got the victory by winning the one who has been by far our map talisman, the Dust2. We started very well, but we are greatly complicated the game and we knew out forward. Then came the quarter against myRevenge, again a complicated Dust2 lot to us and we won by the same score. And finally, the fateful third game of the semifinals against karont3 that seemed totally lost 6-12 against that but we knew gather ourselves and win again, 16-14. The other matches were drawn on with more or fewer problems but without a doubt, the semi-final was the hardest match of the EPS.
Hector: The true that if we have suffered enough from the first game against Spanien up so tight semifinals, but rivals also play and want to win no one likes to lose. When the going gets difficult we only thought of taking the party forward and help my teammates in everything I could to bring the map no matter the cost. For the truth that when we won the comeback I thought we had done, so here I just thought about going to eat, relax and enjoy the tranquility of winning.
Rekyem: When the thing was complicated only thing that was going through my head was the way to try to remedy it, then cold, after finishing the game and the initial joy of having achieved victory, I felt a little disappointed in myself for not I found my game in the semifinal, but infinitely pleased with my colleagues who knew the game up.
3- You are going to playing the final in Tenerife, for you of having to travel to the island Canarias to play the final?
Mula: For me, a privilege is clear. I have spoken very highly of that party and what better stage to play a final that the Canary Islands... is a great pleasure!
This has always been one of my goals in this game, being able to travel as well... so nothing, to enjoy the experience as much as possible.
Blade: I love to travel and visit places I have never visited Tenerife and thanks to this game as I do, like many other cities such as Porto for example, but for me the main thing is to approach the game with the strongest possible guarantees given the the opponent team will and of course enjoy those days there with my teammates and friends that is sure to be unforgettable.
Mak: Is a major prize, an illusion. It's what every player wants to compete, to travel, see places, share good times with friends and above doing what you love. Could not be better.
Hector: This is a great joy to go play in Tenerife where I have spoken highly of this site. So enjoy the experience and the Canary Islands.
Rekyem: It means having the feeling of a job well done and a reward for all these years of playing.
4- Your opponent is the winner of the EPS VIII and the current top 1 Spanish, x6tence we are talking about as you prepare to go out and play this final as it surely will notice a lot of pressure on you because you you play a lot, think you affected?
Mula: Actually I think x6tence are clear favorites, we understand that reaching here we have little to lose. That said it is clear that we will try to take this EPS and try to prepare and play your best. It was very difficult to get here, so now we can not afford to slack off.
Personally, I try to approach the game as one, and I understand that the excitement does not make us any good. We try to make everything more 'normal' as possible, knowing what is at stake.
Blade: If something will there be pressure, we will play against each other as we have done many times in workouts against them are players with experience level higher than ours but my team is able to face them and to whom to make absence x6tence, and personally, as team leader in game try to do my best to keep your computer running as it has done so far.
Mak: At this point, the pressure ... no, quite the opposite. It is they who on paper should win. That far to say that the game already lost, but this is another situation with which we approach the game.
Quotes have come from the pressure to beat the opponent in front of us, as the name that represent heavy and this time our rivals, history and achievements, heavier. It will be nice and interesting.
Hector: Exactly we face the best team in Spain at this time. As I prepare the game with a lot of enthusiasm and great desire, I hope not in the game affect me all that pressure and excitement that exists in this type of party, since it is the first time I play a final of this importance.
Rekyem: No pressure, the role of favorite takes x6tence and for us it's a great prize to be in Tenerife contesting the final, we play as we know and we will try to have fun with what we do.
